Prevention lives in our homes, our families, our schools, and our communities. The coalition’s role is to connect members of our community to create countywide change preventing the consequences of substance misuse. We provide resources and education to Tioga County, NY. Our vision is to create communities that support health and wellness, where people have equal access to help and assistance if they should need it. We have been able to support many initiatives such as distribution of medication lock boxes, medication disposal pouches, cabinet locks, training, parent handbooks, public access Narcan boxes (PAN) boxes, youth leadership events, and other resources. Our meetings and workgroups are open to everyone, and we are always accepting volunteers and new members. We cannot do this work without you, get involved with our Coalition today.
