Women Veteran & Military Caregivers Appreciation Luncheon
The Tioga County Veterans Service Agency is a local, community based resource for veterans, active duty military, guard, reserves and their families of all generations who have served the nation, fought its wars and kept its peace. We are often the first and most frequent point of contact for veterans, active duty, guard, reserves, their families, and caregivers as they navigate the complex, intergovernmental chain of veteran resources and services. |
Our accredited service officers assist in many ways: we answer questions, advise and educate on what benefits are available from federal, state. county and local resources; we provide assistance and legal representation in preparing and filing claims and appeals; we give assistance with gaining access to healthcare particularly in rural communities like ours; and we assist with any need they may have and work hard to improve the quality of life for those who have served, are serving, caring for a wounded warrior and their families.
