The Legislative Clerk's office provides administrative support to the Legislative body of the County, including organizing agendas for meetings, performing legal notifications, recording minutes, and retaining and publishing the Legislative Proceedings, Resolutions, and Local Laws. The office provides staff support to individual Legislators as needed and handles other tasks as assigned by the Legislature or by County Law outlining the duties of the Clerk of the Legislative Body.

In addition, the Legislative Clerk's office processes and records all vendor payments to ensure they meet County guidelines, and audits those purchases to ensure they meet controller guidelines.
